Return & Refund Policy

Gritstone pieces are prepared in small batches and sourced through suppliers that do not accept standard return-back inventory after purchase. For this reason, we do not offer no-reason returns, change-of-mind returns, or returns for personal preference.

When to contact us

If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, incomplete, or materially different from what you purchased, contact us at contact@shopgritstone.com within 7 days of delivery. Include your order number, checkout email, and clear photos or video showing the issue.

Return eligibility

A return or refund may be reviewed only when the issue is reported within 7 days of delivery and the item is unused, unworn, clean, undamaged by the customer, and kept with its original packaging. Returns must be approved by Gritstone before shipment.

Not eligible for return

We do not accept returns for change of mind, personal preference, wrong item selected by the customer, wrong size selected by the customer, natural stone or pearl variation, final sale items, custom or personalized items, gift cards, normal wear, misuse, water exposure, pulling, chewing, improper storage, or accidental damage.

Natural variation

Natural stones and pearls vary in color, markings, luster, shape, inclusions, and surface texture. These natural differences are part of the material and are not considered defects.

Pet jewelry

Pet necklaces and collar accessories must be completely unused to be considered for any return review. We cannot accept pet items that have been worn by a pet, chewed, scratched, pulled, soiled, or exposed to odor or pet hair.

Approved returns

If we approve a return, we will provide return instructions. Do not send items back before approval. Approved returns may be sent to: Dongcheng Yinxiang Apartment, Shangcheng District, Hangzhou, Zhejiang, China.

Refunds

After an approved return is received and inspected, we will notify you whether the refund is approved. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method. Payment providers may need additional time to post the refund.

Shipping costs

Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the item was damaged, defective, or incorrect due to our error. Original shipping fees, customs duties, taxes, VAT, brokerage fees, and import charges are not refundable unless required by law.

Nothing in this policy limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer protection laws.
